My name is Manprit, and I am currently a third-year UC Davis student studying Computer Science. They are most known for incinerating dance floors with the heavy dance floor artillery of South Asia, but the duo scour the globe for any hard-hitting music that combines local music traditions with window-rattling production.
When I attended my first Bhangra Bash freshmen year, I instantly fell for the music and dance. We have even added 3 brand new cities to the tour this season~ Minneapolis, Nashville and Albuquerque.

We are giving away tickets for a party of 5 to ANDAZ Bhangra Bollywood Dance Party Analog Theatre on May 30. Winner will be drawn and emailed Friday, May 29. ANDAZ occurs the last Saturday of every month at the Analog Theater. ANDAZ is such a Portland institution it is mentioned in the travel guides Best Places Portland and the Moon Handbook Portland. They are most known for incinerating dance floors with the heavy dance floor artillery of South Asia, but the duo scour the globe for any hard-hitting music that combines local music traditions with window-rattling production. Anjali and The Kid regularly perform at festivals including five sets at the Sasquatch! Music Festival tenth anniversary where they headlined the dance tent opening night. They have performed at festivals such as Decibel, MusicfestNW, Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration, Beloved, Photosynthesis, Fairytale and Kaleidoscope and the Vancouver Queer Film Festival. The duo travel to perform in cities such as New York City, Chicago, Washington DC, San Francisco and Vancouver, BC to headline parties such as Basement Bhangra, iBomba, Bhangrateque, Ottomania and Non Stop Bhangra. A series of residencies followed, beginning with a night at the legendary Blackbird, and the duo began hosting their ANDAZ dance parties in July of 2002. In 2013 Anjali and The Kid initiated TROPITAAL: A Desi Latino Soundclash, their latest project.

My name is Navita Malhi and I am from Prime Springs, CA. Simran Kaur Hi Everyone. WCDE west coast dance theatre bhangra ready for an exciting 23rd season on tour, and we hope you will be able to join us at one of our 15 regional cities. We have a lot of passion for what we do, and our teachers love to TEACH. I am 21 years old and a Senior at UC Davis majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. They are most known for incinerating dance floors with the heavy dance floor artillery of South Asia, but the duo scour the globe for any hard-hitting music that combines local music traditions with window-rattling production. A series of residencies followed, beginning with a night at the legendary Blackbird, and the duo began hosting their ANDAZ dance parties in July of 2002. DJ Anjali and The Incredible Kid have spent more than fifteen years igniting dance floors with solo edge music not limited by borders or language. I love bhangra and planning so joining West Coast was a no-brainer. ANDAZ occurs the last Saturday of every month at the Analog Theater.
